The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 main event is about to commence, and Krafton, the publisher of BGMI, has unveiled the details of Round 4. This round will witness a clash between underdog squads and seasoned teams, all vying for a staggering prize pool of INR 2 Crores across multiple qualifying rounds spanning two months.
Round 4 of BGIS 2024: The Specifics
Round 4, scheduled from May 23rd to May 26th, will feature 64 teams. These teams comprise 48 squads from Round 3 and 16 top-ranked teams (1st to 16th) from The Grind. These 64 teams will be divided into four groups of 16 teams each.
Each group will compete in six matches, and the top four teams from each group, totaling 16 teams, will advance to Semifinals Week 1. Furthermore, the remaining 48 teams will qualify for the Wildcard Entry round.

Points System
The BGIS 2024 event will see a new points system where the team securing the chicken dinner will be awarded 10 points unlike before where it was 15 points. The new points system puts a significant amount of emphasis on the finishes each team secures.
Points system for the BGIS 2024 Round 1:
1st place: 10 points.
2nd place: 6 points.
3rd place: 5 points.
4th place: 4 points.
5th place: 3 points.
6th place: 2 points.
7th place: 1 point.
8th place: 1 point.
9th - 16th place: 0 points.
1 Finish: 1 point.
Where to Watch BGIS 2024 Round 4?
The thrilling Round 4 of the BGIS 2024 main event will be live-streamed on the official Krafton India Esports YouTube Channel, starting from May 23rd at 3:30 PM onwards, with broadcasting available in both Hindi and English languages.
This round will witness a clash between multiple seasoned and underdog squads, who previously competed in the BGIS 2024 The Grind event. Round 4 will mark the return of some of the well-known teams, including iQOO Soul, Godlike Esports, Global Esports, and Revenant Esports, as they battle it out for a spot in the subsequent stages.
